Diet To-Do

I am compiling a list of things to help me keep track of my diet and progress. If you can think of anything I need to add please let me know!

  • Get a scale
  • Get a new Moleskine to keep track of numbers(calories/weight)
  • Get a gym membership
  • Find healthy food that I like
  • Purchase said healthy food

That seems like an awfully short list … surely there are things that I am missing, but thats a good start!

Search my site for 30 minute meals - a book I highly recommend. Bring the book right to the grocery store. Good food, decent on the calorie count, and a sinch to make.

I am actually a pretty big fan of Rachael Ray, I love her show and watch it all the time, never thought of picking up the book though, I think I will do that.

    Cut sugar comsumption?

2 common things there.. Good luck on the diet, I’m doing it as well :-)

Already there on the water, I drink at least a gallon a day right now(I live in Phoenix, AZ too, so it’s flipping hot). The sugar thing I have been working on, I just love sugar so much LOL … I will do it though. Good luck to you as well!

Most gyms will do your measurments and body fat for free. Have them do that. Body fat is a better predictor of health than weight.

Eish, I need to lose SERIOUS weight as well. I’m not on a diet per se but I’m trying to create a lifestyle change that will continue once the weight is gone.

Am I too late to get in on this weight loss thing, how does it work?

well try not eating a few hours before bed, if you don’t already that was always a big problem for me, midnight munchies. This losing weight shit is a bitch, i’ve been doing it myself for a while now but i’ve lost about 90 pounds so it must be working. i really like racheal too, she’s so damn cute…
