By all means Justin have at it. To be honest though I think an easier way to do this now would be to just utilize Shelfari RSS feeds, or an API if they have one. This script was designed basically to keep a library of books you've read, and shelfari does exactly that waaay better than any wordpress plugin ever could. Just food for thought =) The code is all GPL'd so feel free to continue development on it! Also if you do come up with anything I'd be more than happy to link anyone here to your project page for it. I still get tons of hits to this page looking for a plugin like this heh.

I was looking for a plug-in to do exactly this. I know you aren't maintaining this project actively, but I was looking to pick up where you left off if that would be okay with you?

This plugin was never finished, it was here for legacy purposes only in case someone wanted the code I had written. I'm sorry but there is no working code for this plugin.

I've installed your plugin, because I also think the amazon one is too heavy.
It activates fine, but when I go to "Manage" and Currently Reading, and try to add a book, I get "Cannot load ACTION_FILE."

:) Thought I'd let you know.
