1 Year, 8 Months, and 6 Days

That is how long my iBook lasted without a single problem. I was beginning to think I should not have wasted the $249 on Apple Care. And then BAM! No more video, they think it is the logic board. All repairs will be free, and I paid $99 for Pro Care which means there is a 24 hour turn around on repairs once they get the parts, as opposed to 5-7 business days without Pro Care. They also offer one ‘Computer Tune-Up’ per year which includes, most importantly, a thorough cleaning. A white iBook gets VERY dirty after almost 2 years and several trips accross the country! They also said they will look into replacing my keyboard, which has about half of the keys completely worn off and unreadable. And they gave me this cool little card with an apple on it that says Pro Care(the major selling point, of course).

What does all this mean? I will be without a computer for the next 2-3 days most likely. I will most likely be slightly more insane when I get it back, so please take that into account when reading future posts. Thank you.

Cingular

It [appears](http://apple.com/iphone/) cingular will finally receive my business … lets just hope the service is good! Also … there is still [no iSight](http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?find=iSight&btn.x=0&btn.y=0) … where the hell is it?!

MWSF ’07

So I had to join the legions of Mac fans out there and post about MWSF. I have been anxiously awaiting for weeks now and I wish I could be there, but alas, I will be stuck here in Phoenix. I also heard that there will be no live streaming of the keynote this year. I hope that they at least post a video of the keynote. I will be asleep until long after the keynote is over anyways, but I still want to watch it, and not just read about the products.

If any of you kind souls would find the keynote video URL once it is over and post it here, so I don’t have to wade through websites full of spoilers to find one, I would be forever indebted to you!
