Colin Devroe of 9 Rules has ran several diet logs in the past on his website. He has decided to bring it back in a whole new way. He is running his new diet log as a community diet. Anyone can join, as long as they do so by tomorrow, by commenting on this post or emailing Colin(his email is on his website).
I doubt I have any long time readers, but in the past I have tried a couple of times to loose my excess baggage. So far I have not accomplished this goal. Hopefully having a community of people with the same goal as me will help.
I am going to be keeping track of my progress on this site with the tag ‘diet’, so if you want to track my progress all of my posts regarding it will be on the diet tags page. I wish good luck to anyone else undertaking this, and I hope I can finally follow through on it!
Good Luck!
I joined the list too and started today.
You can do it!
;-)
Good luck!
Good luck to both of you as well! And thank you for the progress bar code Kristin, I am gonna change it up a bit before I add it, expect something cool for the entire diet community ;-)
I’ve been dieting for a while but will join in on this because I regained some weight and have stalled from eating too little.
Hi!
My partner works three 12 hour night shifts a week. I know this type of shift work can be hard on the body. He works out in the gym at least twice a week on his days off. Is there any special diet he should follow or supplement he should take?
Thanks
I have been doing a lot of research into the Glycemic Index diet. It makes a lot of sense scientifically. I am still doing some research into the practicalities of it, being at work 12 hours a day, eating food that I enjoy eating, etc. I bought a book(The G.I. Diet - Rick Gallop) on the subject. I also saw on TV late night one of those commercials for NutriSystem that appears to make use of the Glycemic Index for weight loss. The bonus to this one is they provide pre-packaged microwaveable meals that meet criteria. Very practical for my job. When I finally settle on something and start it I will make another post here explaining what I chose and why.
