On last weeks diggnation Alex mentioned, quite a few times, that Apple’s market share is only 5%. I was checking out my statistics today and I know that my website’s stat’s are not a valid basis for comparison by any means, but I found this entertaining.

It has come to my attention that from January 9th to January 15th was National De-lurking Week. I completely missed out on it but I read a few other’s people posts about it and did in fact de-lurk. One in particular that I found quite interesting was Low End Theory. I have been reading her blog for almost a year now, commenting rarely but reading consistently. Apparently, she lurks on my blog too!
So this is a call to all you lurkers out there. I request that you de-lurk and announce where you hail from. I am hoping to have one or two of these coincidences myself and perhaps make some new friends! So … I know you all are out there, I check my website stats just like every other blogger. De-lurk away!

I know I am probably way behind the bandwagon on this one, but I never took the time to properly setup a decent way to post pages to del.icio.us other than the JS bookmark that they provide. I used a combination of the del.icio.us extension and keyconfig. I used keyconfig to disable to standard bookmark shortcut and I mapped that to the del.icio.us extension. It feels just like I am bookmarking a regular site =) I was just to excited about that to not post about it. Hopefully now I will post more sites on del.icio.us and possibly even add my feed on this site!

AllPeers is a free extension which combines the strength of Firefox and the efficiency of BitTorrent to transform your favorite browser into a media sharing powerhouse.
This firefox extensions sounds very awesome. If it takes off the way that they are expecting and everyone uses it, it could easily change how we view p2p. It will actually be peer to peer now, instead of peer to some anonymous person online. That has always been my biggest gripe with the whole music piracy fiasco. They say oh but we are ’sharing’ music. Yet you don’t know the person who is sharing it with you, and he is sharing it with hundreds if not thousands of other people.
I’ve borrowed my friends CD’s before, i’ve even snagged a few songs off of them. I see nothing wrong with this. If I at some point have the physical CD in my possession, I think I have the right to do whatever I want with the music in regards to how I store or play it. But I am getting off subject, this is not an anti-piracy post, there are plenty of those.
This plugin is not out yet, but you can add yourself to thier notification mailing list and be notified when it is out. You can also read thier blog.
