Unfortunately I could not be there this time. But despite the lack of my Presence Steve Jobs managed to roll out some pretty exciting products. Unlike Steve, I will not save the best for lest because I am far to excited about it …
This is the new MacBook Pro. It uses the new Intel Core Duo Processor … yes that’s right … a DUAL CORE laptop. According to Apple it is 4.5x faster than the current g4 Power Books. No you are not seeing things either. That is Front Row running on the laptop. It has a little IR port next to the screen latch. It also has an iSight camera built in to the laptop. In short … this laptop will make you cream your pants everytime you set it in your lap!
They also released new iMac’s with the core duo processor. Pretty much the same as the laptop but in 17″ and 20″ desktop flavors.
There was also iLife ‘06 and iWork ‘06. Good stuff all around I think. Lots of impressive iPod numbers. Go watch it for yourself and enjoy!
