This post is basically to let people know about the new, very very nice plugin for WordPress … Amazon Media Manager. This plugin runs along the same lines as my ill-fated Currently Reading Plugin except that it supports *everything* in the amazon store.
There is now a nifty little dynamically generated Currently Reading section in the sidebar. Courtesy of my new job in which I have alot of downtime, expect to see quite a few books rotate through there, I am almost done with my second book since I started reading in my downtime last friday.
Also expect a much more elaborate books section to debut soon as this plugin makes it very easy to manage a list of information and display it all in any way that you see fit. I highly recomend this plugin to anyone who has a personal blog. A section like that adds to the personality of the blog and gives some insight into the blogger’s mind much more than he could, or would be willing, to write. It’s also a chance to make some dough with that Amazon affiliates account you signed up for 3 years ago and sits steadily at about $0.19 ;-)
