As I mentioned in my previous post, I spent saturday night at Acid Reign VII here in Phoenix and it was to be my last Phoenix party before I go. I had invited alot of people to join me for my last Phoenix event, unfortunately alot of people couldn’t go due to various reasons. Despite all the people that bailed I had a blast. The music was awesome, met some cool new people, and I got to see some people I haven’t seen in a while and say goodbye. I was there from about 10:30 to 3:00am and by then I was just so worn out from standing and walking arou and dancing etc etc. I spent about 30 minutes passing out flyers for the after party at the cafe and then I headed out early to actually have a place to sit down at the cafe.

The after party was equally awesome. I was there for about 3 hours and the DJ’s were layin down some awesome shit which surprised me since they had been up all night at a party. It was Tiffe’s birthday as I mentioned earlier so she got a cake(which I missed). I also got to see a very interesting game of chess which was a bit hard to follow given that I was so tired. It was an awesome game too, the main hilight from the game was a series of 3 consecutive moves by my friend Aaron. Aaron appeared to be a very aggressive chess player and busted out with his queen early. His queen managed to capture a pawn, a knight, and a bishop 3 turns in a row AND put his opponents king in check each turn. I thought that was pretty spiffy with my amateur(at best) chess skills.

After the after party I went home and fell straight asleep LOL, I had to be up at like 2:00pm so I could go pick up a friend from work and spend some time with her before I go. Of all the things here in Phoenix she is the one I will miss the most. I do hope I get to see her again before I leave. Once I got home after hanging out with her I smoked some hookah, ate some food thats bad for me, and drank all my cares away … stupid I know, but I could think of no other way to forget about what i’m losing by moving to Boston. At this point I have no choice but to go and leave it all behind. I am confident that it will all work out though. Otherwise i’d really be in trouble :P
