So I ordered my laptop today from apple, the total came to $1478.67 … Here is what I got …
- Memory 065-5235 256MB DDR266
- Hard Drive 065-5241 80GB ATA Drive
- Optical Drive 065-5243 COMBO DRIVE
- Airport 065-5246 Airport Extreme Card
- BlueTooth 065-5011 Internal BlueTooth Module
- iWork Software Preinstalled 065-4683Not Applicable
- Keyboard/Mac OS Language 065-5249 Keyboard/Mac OS
All that plus the apple care protection plan and a $50 promotional discount for who knows what heh. I’m also buying 1 Gig of PC2100 DDR266 Notebook Memory made by KingMax (?) for $134.99 or 512MB of PC2100 DDR266 Notebook Memory made by Corsair for $64.99. The only thing keeping me from getting the 1Gig is that i’ve never heard of that company before, I know Corsair is good ram. But the KingMax does come with a lifetime warranty, so I think I will just go for that and have a beefy maxed out iBook :-D Either way I have to wait until my next paycheck to buy the ram :(
