So on Monday around 1:00pm I woke up as I usualy do and decided to go to Blockbuster and get some movies with my new freedom pass(I love it!). So I went and rented Chronicles of Ridick and Collateral. I highly reccomend them both. Anyways so I watch my movies, and head off to work. Spend the night working bored as hell most of the time. Get off work, and decide to go hang out with this girl. I give her a call, she has work until 1:00 which is when I would have normaly gone to sleep, but I really wanted to see her so I said I would meet her when she gets off work.

10:00am rolls around and I decide to return my movies and get more, gotta love that freedom pass! I end up getting Troy and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. When I get back I decide to watch Harold and Kumar first and i’ve got to say that of all the stoner movies I have seen, this is by far the funiest, not the best, but definately the funniest. Once the movie is over its time to leave so I get my things together and head out. I was trying to think of what we would do and nothing was coming to mind, so I just let it go and decided we would think of something. On my way there I had this really bright idea to do something special for her, so even though I was already running a bit late I stopped and got her some flowers and headed out on my way again. They were very pertty flowers too! I finally get to her work and I give her the flowers and a big hug and ask her what she wants to do. She couldn’t think of anything either. To make a really boring part of the story short we ended up sitting outside a bowling alley in the parking lot smoking and listening to music for like 2 hours. As lame as that sounds it was so much fun!

Around 4:15 she has to go and I have to go so we part ways and I head home. Keep in mind now its been about 27 hours since I have had any sleep. When I get home I decide to put on Troy to keep me awake for the next 3 hours until I have to go to work, yes work! After all that I have to work! So I pop in the movie and it is keeping me mildly awake and fully entertained(awesome movie so far) for about an hour. Around 7:00pm I finally pass out. I have to leave for work in 2 hours though! Good thing I set my alarm clock ….

So I am laying there sleeping and I get this phone call. I answer the phone and its my boss, apparenly it was an hour past when my shift started. I wake up a little bit more and hear this really faint sound that sounds like an alarm clock. I guess my alarm clock that I have had since I was like 7 has finally bit the dust and just wont make noise anymore. I did get into work although I haven’t been able to finish watching Troy yet. As I sat here writing this I realized that all of this was for one reason, to see the girl … and you know what, as I pass out here on my keyboard, it was definately worth it. Can’t wait ’till I see her next! Who knows how many days sleep I will miss then!

So yeah this weekend has been nothing but drama, stress, and tiredness. I probably wont bore you with the details but we shall see how that works out. Friday night as you know sucked. Had to work and didn’t get to party. After work I went down to the awesome coffee house I wrote about, looking forward to some supposedly awesome waffles that “Dude,” yes thats his name, makes every morning. I came to find out that Dude doesn’t work on the weekends and so I was without waffles. Alex and I shot the shit and drank some coffee. Heckled some people by shouting “Cafe”(pronounced ka-fey) at them through the front door, which we realized a few days ago means brown in spanish and given the neighborhood the coffee house is in, it could be taken the wrong way. But we still do it because it is funny.

After this was the only saving grace of the weekend. I drove out to meet my good friend Justine and teach her how to drive a stick because she is wanting to get a new car. She is a smart girl and it only took her about 10 minutes to pick it up. Luckily we were at the mall so we went shopping. I got some shoes and she got some pants which were quite awesome. Seeing her is always good times. After this I had planned to go home and go to sleep but there was just so much to do getting ready for the party that night. Did some more shopping, picked up some more clothes, exchanged my shoes for even more clothes as they didn’t fit and I wanted clothes more, applied for a second job to have some extra cash and really just got no sleep all day and then had the party that night.

The party, being the day after everyone on the planet parties, was kind of dead for our parties. And yet still we got some old lady knocking on our door complaining threatening to call the cops on us. We weren’t even loud or anything. There was drama between guests which we try best to avoid but as any party hosts know this is not possible. I didn’t drink much either because I don’t drink much anymore because I hate beer and thats all we ever get and spent the whole night thinking about the person that didn’t come instead of having fun with the people that did =/ I suck, oh well.

Another thing I did this weekend which i’ve been wanting to do for a while was renew my blockbuster freedom pass and rent some movies. I did that on saturday night and I have seen Spiderman 2, Jersey Girl, and am in the middle of the King Arthur directors cut which is awesome. I plan to spend the next month doing nothing but watching movies so expect some movie reviews! I can’t think of anything else to say so I am going to get back to work.
