Jan 24th was the most depressing day ever

Well, not for me … but according to a part-time tutor at Cardiff University … yeah, i’ve never heard of it either … Jan. 24th was mathematically the most depressing day ever … here is his formula

1/8W+(D-d) 3/8xTQ MxNA. Where: W: Weather D: Debt d: Money due in January pay T: Time since Christmas Q: Time since failed quit attempt M: General motivational levels NA: The need to take action

You can see the whole article on the BBC.

Rasterbator

There is a site I found on the He Says … She Says blog that will take any image and rasterise it and make it huge. I give you The Rasterbator! I was thinking I could now make a poster of that doll from a few days ago … but that might be just a tad wierd heh, what you think?

I’m in love!

But I don’t know who with … I found this one site while surfing blog clicker where you can make these doll’s, realistic or whatever you can do just about anything. It entertained for about 3 hours, then I decided I would pick my favorite features of everything and put them all together … the result?

Doll

If anyone knows her, my contact info can be found under the MySpace Profile link to the right. I’d be eternally grateful!

allconsuming.net

Looking through my stats and checking some search engine queries people make that somehow end up linking them to m site, I found a site called Allconsuming.net. What it does is it spiders blogs all over the web via Webblogs.com, Technorati.com, Alexa.com and searches all thier posts for book references to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Book Sense and it archives all that information so you can search for what books certain blogs have been reading, or see what blogs are reading your favorite books! This seems like a pretty cool service that doesnt really make itself known, at least not that I could tell.
