Apparently there were some security vulnerabilities in wordpress allowing for cross site scripting .. EEK!! They have released a new version 1.2.1 so if you are running wordpress you had better upgrade.
The upgrade process was a little less painful than I thought it would be, all I did was copy over my wp-images wp-content/plugins/ directories and my index.php, wp-comments.php, and wp-layout.css to the new directory, then copied that whole directory to my htdocs directory and all was good.
congrats! i have yet to see one on mine. :(
My blog is quite small, and I get my share of content spam. Just wait until you start getting fifteen a day — the fun stops then. :-D Captchas work wonders for stopping spam, though.
