Girls are dumb … this we all know. But this brings it to a whole new level. I’m not sure if this is satire or something that actually happened but I believe that it happened and i’m sure it happens all the time. This guy did an expirement testing the “Deacon Effect” … you can read about exactly what the “Deacon Effect” is at galaktek.com. This guy tested out his theory on two random girls from opposite ends of the spectrum … and it worked on both of them. Can you believe that shit!

Tonight, Wed October 27th, 2004, there will be a total lunar eclipse. According to things I have read the moon appears to be blood red, how cool is that?

Everytime something appears to be going right and things are going good something comes along and just scatters all the good things everywhere and you can find one every once in a while but it just seems pointless cuz its gone again after a little bit. And they always take forever to gather back together just to have them scattered all over again.
On friday when I got paid I went up to Fry’s Electronics to pick up a new power supply. They had a deal this week on a 430 watt PS for $35.00. Thats a pretty good deal for buying from a store. I picked it up, took it home, installed it. Turned on the computer. Everything was fine and dandy. After about 5 minutes of running the power supply started making this noise sounded like a fucking jet engine, it is so loud I can’t even hear my music over it. I’m just thinking ‘omg wtf is wrong with it now’ … it continues to run fine, just very very loud. I think it might just be some noisy bearings or something. All I know is IM taking that bitch back tommorow and getting one that doesnt require ear plugs to run it.
Wow saturday night was so much fun. It started out sucking so bad. I had nothing to do, no where to go, and all my friends were busy. Not to mention the night before didn’t help the situation much, but I wont go into that it was god awful. So IM lying in bed half asleep and I get invited to go to a desert rave … first thought that comes to my mind is ‘I dont go to raves.’ Second thought to come into my head was’ I dont do drugs.’ I ended up deciding to go so me and 3 friends and 2 people I just met went on our way.
It was in Middle of the Desert, AZ and it took us a while to get there, we took a few wrong roads once we got off the freeway but we found our way there. Cover was $15 a head and we had 6 people in our car. The lady taking money let our whole car in for $40 so that was cool. We got down to the music area and i’m liking the music, but I kept thinking to myself wtf am I doing here. I started out the night with a beer and had 1 more before I decided to quit drinking. Apparently I was tagged as the DD heh, but I didn’t mind. Getting royally wasted in the desert isn’t really my idea of fun.
So after about an hour of just walking around practically by myself just enjoying the music, I start to not give a fuck about anything. I’d spent the last 36 hours thinking of nothing but the bad crap in my life. After about an hour at this rave enjoying the music I gave in and just had fun all damn night. I’ve never danced before, and I danced like a fool for 5 hours straight. And I didn’t care who saw me, I was having to much fun. It’s nice to know I have an escape from life should I ever want one, and i’m sure I will, probably more often than I should heh. In fact next weekend I am driving out to california to see my friend Heather and we are going to Monster Massive to get down with our bad dancing selves!
What can I say, the raver scene has captivated me!
